Well, I read the book not in the three weeks I imagined it would take but in 4 days. I twas so hard to put it down. Instead of just putting Gwyneth to bed I'd end up laying down with her and staying the whole nap long.

Anyway, just a few final comments.

One thing that bothered me about Ishmael and Bee was how quickly he fell out of love with Claudia and in love with Bee. If I had been Bee I might have been offended at the whole "If I can't have Claudia I'll have you, Bee". I liked that a good bit of time had to pass to prove his love for her and that it was even tested with Claudia becoming available.

I definitely loved how EDEN wrapped up everyone's lives beautifully. One of the best Disney'ish endings!! I think the two books combined are just as good as The Hidden Hand and understand why EDEN considers it her finest work.

Mom has chosen the next book, I just can't remember it at this time. I'll e-mail all of you with title and start date. Oh, and how great that we celebrated 2 years of book club greatness. YIPPY!!
